What Causes Abdominal Bloating Along With Flatulence?
About once a month I have the following symptoms that usually last about 24 hours.: bloating, foul gas, belching foul sulfa-smelling and tasting air, that tastes carbonated (if that makes sense) , then usually a soft stool or two. No pain at all, sometimes a little nausea. This is happening more often lately , like weekly.
Hi Thanks for posting on HCM That sounds like a digestive problem to investigate. It could be caused by: indigestion, lactose intolerance, H pylori infection/gastritis, Giardiasis, amibiasis, Yeast infection...I will suggest you run a stool exam/culture, H pylori test. The management of the problem will depend on the tests findings. I will suggest you try the following: -Eat in small quantities -Allow previous meal to fully digest before eating again -Chew well and avoid talking while chewing -Eat well and balanced -Avoid fruits after meal as might produce more gas -Lime juice or lemon 20 mins before meal may help -Digestion stimulating spices like black pepper and ginger in food -Probiotics may help -Avoid anything cold while eating Hope these measure will help you.If no help, you see your Doctor for investigation and etiologic management. Best regards
