What Causes Abdominal Bloating Along With Rectal Bleeding And Dizziness?

I am experiencing bloating, rectal bleeding (bright and dark red but none in the stool), dizziness and nausea beginning this morning and progressively getting more acute. Do I need to go to urgent care? I do have IBS but haven t had any constipation or diarrhea in a long time.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

As per history you are having per rectal bleeding. So dizziness can be because of bleeding. Check your HB level by CBC investigation. If hb low than iron medication can be prescribed. Avoid taking stress and smoking. To rule out infective etiology stool routine micro examination and occult blood test done. Consult physician for examination.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
