What Causes Abdominal Bloating And Cramps Along With Constipation Be Treated?

i often have bloating and stomach cramps. sometimes constipated....often times feel like i need to defocate or feel gassy. when i do have a bowel movement it is proper type and color followed by a second where movement is smaller chunks sometimes flat or slender. always feel like i have to go. is this a digestive problem. could it be colon cancer or something else. what should i do

Hello,

As per your clinical history is concerned, it is not cancer so please follow like this:

1) Do a clinical examination by your Doctor [gastroenterologist] and to confirm do few investigations like [Colonoscopy, Ct scan and stool exam].

2) Try to eliminate high-gas foods. If you have bothersome bloating or are passing considerable amounts of gas, then cut out such items as carbonated beverages, vegetables especially cabbage, broccoli and cauliflower and raw fruits.

3) Try to eliminate FODMAPs from the diet, so discuss with your dietitian to make a food plan.

4) Do take OTC fiber supplements regularly at bedtime and add osmotic laxatives such as milk of magnesia or polyethylene glycol.

5) Discuss with your Doctor about antibiotic like [Rifaximin] with probiotic.

6) Do yoga and meditation regularly and make a plan to reduce stress.
