What Causes Abdominal Bloating And Pressure On The Back?

Hello. My husband has been having issues with abdominal bloating, abdominal muscle tightness, a feeling like he has to move his bowels but can not go, muscle tightness all around to his back, after he eats, his stomach feel like it is distended and full. His bowel movements are not normal for him. He just had a routine abdominal x-ray that showed no free air, mild to mederate stoll and no evidence of impaction or obstruction. He is diabetic and has a 25 year history of Lyme Diseade that has been in remission. I think he needs to see a GI doctor.

Hello. He might be having gastritis or acid peptic disease. He needs to follow some lifestyle tips

1. Do not eat spicy food
2. Take medications for gastritis- pantop/omez/rantac
3. Take little food at frequent intervals. Breakfast around 8am, small snack at 11am, lunch at 1pm, small snack at 4pm and dinner at 8pm
4. Drink plenty of water
5. Do not smoke, take alcohol or tobacco and even excess of coffee and tea
6. Do not take much of stress. Stress aggravates gastritis
7. Do regular exercise. Atleast half an hour per day
8. Learn meditation techniques
9. Follow this regularly for 21 days. It is said that anything you practice regularly for 21 days becomes a habit
