What Causes Abdominal Bloating, Nausea And Excessive Burping When Diagnosed With IBS?
I have been diagnosed with IBS-C. I am on linzess which works most of the time. Even though I poo regularly from it, I still remain sick, throw up and bloated from it. There is no feeling of nausea, just a fullness that at any moment my stomach contents will come up. If I allow myself to belch, even yawn deeply I am throwing up at that point. Is there something else going on here besides the IBS-C? I was with the understanding as long as I had bowel movements the symptoms would go away.

Hi there ...are you on antacids and pain medication?this can lead to constipation though you are on linzess. sometimes magnesium citrate syrup can help rid flatulence.I would suggest you t consume plenty of water 3-4 litres atleast per day and diet, high fibre diet, including green leafy vegetables like spinach, lean meat, oats , bran , cereals. This along with brsik walking should get your bowel back in order.Practise meditation and slow deep breathing . This also helps in bowel betterment.Have your dinner 2-3 hours before night sleep since your being upright is essential to prevent reflux disease associated with IBS.Take care
