What Causes Abdominal Bulge Above The Incision Site Of Minilaparotomy Surgery?
Hi, I had a minilaparotomy 3 weeks ago to remove a dermoid cyst 6cm from my right ovary and am noticing that there is an abdominal bulge right above my incision. My doctor says that this is normal and that my lower abs/stomach are bulging due to the sutures and work done and that this area will flatten with time, 6 mos... is this accurate.
