What Causes Abdominal Bulging After An Appendectomy Surgery?
Sir, my cousin undergone appendectomy (open surgery). After surgery the site was infected and he undergone treatment about 20 days. Now after 3 months around the surgery sight bulged. What is the reason? Is it hernia? or any fat growth? or emergency? Kindly explain the reason

hi...you said there is infection at suture side...
this means normal healing is not happen..
so bulge is there..
it is not hernia..but weekened suture area.
plzz have physical examination of site and do as doctors advise...
