What Causes Abdominal Cramps After Insertion Of Mirena IUD?

I got the mirena IUD about 2 and a half weeks ago have been spotting and have a few days of heavy flow and cramping since. Today I noticed what looked like a large chunk of meat on my pad it was firm and had what looked like a tendon that you would find in a piece of meat in it. What could this be

Hello there. Cramping and bleeding after insertion of Merina IUD indicate s that your body rejected it. Most likely you have expelled the IUD.
