I normally take my birth control regularly but skip the placebo week and go on to the next pack. I spot every few months but never any pain. The past week was not a placebo week and I have been spotting and experiencing occasional pain. Today I am experiencing lots of pain like cramps but almost as if I have to use the bathroom. Should I take a pregnancy test, and if I do, will it automatically show up positive because I skip my periods on purpose?
