What Causes Abdominal Cramps And Diarrhea?
Been having cramps for about a week now. I m also dealing with shivers. Diarrhea has now shown up in the last two days but no signs of fever. What could this be? I went to my doctor and he told me it might be something I ate but it s been over a week is that normal. He told me to buy Imodium not sure this is the route to take. The cramps show up right after I eat even when I drink water.

Hi,
This is due to gastrointestinal infection from bacteria.
You need antibiotic coverage like Ofloxacin and Ornidazole. To reduce gut motility you can also take a tablet of Loperamide.
Maintain good hydration, take plenty of liquids, light meals and soup, probiotic in the diet.
You will relieve in one week. You need not worry.
