What Causes Abdominal Cramps And Inter Menstrual Vaginal Spotting?

I was wondering what was going on..the night before i was having period cramps..when i went to Lee there was light pink blood inside the toilet After that the cramps have been on and off but no more pink blood my period doesn t start till the third..this event took place Friday morning

I have reviewed your query and understand your concern.

I would recommend you to have a pregnancy test to make sure you are not pregnant. If the pregnancy test is negative than you can repeat it in 2-3 days. If it is still negative than i would say that you can take some ibuprofen to help with cramps.

If the cramps are not well controlled with ibuprofen or is any worsening or you have vaginal secretions with bad odor or pain during intercourse than you will need to have a visit with your doctor and have a gynecological examination to rule out infection. The doctor might also decide on taking cervical secretions (with a gynecological examination) for chlamydia and gonorrhea to test for these infections.
