What Causes Abdominal Cramps And Lower Back Pain After Taking Abortion Pills?

Hello, I took medical abortion pills and after 4 hours still no bleeding only mild cramps in my lower back, but a clear liquid is flowing from my vagina. No smell or anything just wondering what this is and is this normal or does this mean the abortion was not successful?

Hi & Welcome to HCM.
Incomplete data like age, duration of pregnancy, whether consulted a gynecologist or not?
It is not safe to abort without consulting a gynecologist.
Pregnancy should be confirmed and dated. The medical abortion pills are successful in terminating an early pregnancy, generally up to 7 weeks.
Generally 1 tablet of Mifepristone is taken followed by 4 tablets of Misoprostol. Following intake of these pills, bleeding with cramps results within 24 - 48 hours, and spotting might last up to 2 - 3 weeks.
You seem to have an incomplete abortion. So, consult a gynecologist for further evaluation and treatment which may involve dilatation and curettage.
Hope this will help.
