Hi,

Abdominal cramps and nausea after intercourse can have several causes, some of which are related to pregnancy and others that are not. It is not uncommon to experience some cramping after sex, particularly if it was rough or vigorous. This can be due to the uterus contracting during orgasm or because the cervix has been bumped during intercourse. However, if the cramping is severe or accompanied by bleeding or unusual discharge, it may be a sign of an infection or other medical issue and you should consult a doctor.

Nausea can also be a symptom of pregnancy, particularly if it occurs a few weeks after unprotected sex. However, it can also be caused by other factors such as food poisoning or indigestion. If you are concerned that you may be pregnant, it is important to take a pregnancy test and speak with your healthcare provider.

In some cases, anxiety or nervousness can cause physical symptoms such as cramping or nausea. If you are feeling particularly anxious or stressed, talk to a mental health professional and manage your stress levels with practices like relaxation techniques or physical exercise.

In summary, abdominal cramps and nausea after intercourse can have several causes, including pregnancy, infection, or anxiety. If the symptoms are severe or persistent, it is important to seek medical attention to rule out any underlying medical issues.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Hi,

The cramps you have seems to be due to excessive physical stress / infection during sex. Nausea is side effect of contraceptive newly started. It would settle down over the time. You can take pill to control nausea (perinorm) available over the counter along with pain medicine (Combiflam), a single dose after food. In case the symptoms return, you need to consult your gynecologist for having adjusted doses according to hour health status.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
