Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
There are several possible causes of the pain you are describing.
If you have a delayed period please have a
pregnancy test. If your periods are not delayed than it might be due to other causes and depending if you have other symptoms might help determine the cause of it.
If you have urinary symptoms (burning, frequency) you will need to have a
urinalysis to rule out urinary infection.
If you have difficult or rare bowel movement than
constipation can be the cause, in this case make sure you take extra fiber supplements and eat fruit and vegetable, avoiding junk food.
If you have increased vaginal secretion, or
pain during intercourse than a
genital infection can be suspected and you will need a check with your doctor to rule it out.
Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Kind regards,
Antoneta Zotaj, MD
