What Causes Abdominal Cramps And Vaginal Spotting During Pregnancy?

My daughter is 39 and 7weeks pregnant She recently passed some dark to pink blood. About a teaspoon full. She also has some very mild cramps. She went to her dr. and he did a scoping of her uterus. The baby was intact with heart beat. She is very worried. This was a pregnancy which was done by implanting her egg which was fertilized by her husband. It has been a long process and she desperately wants this baby. How common is it to have mild cramping and bleeding at this stage?

postnatal examination and monitoring will confirm abortion. in this case it is not abortion so need not worry. this is a precious pregnancy take counseling fertilization clinic doctor. she should take rest and avoid strineous exercise like jumping and pressure over abdomen.
