What Causes Abdominal Cramps, Bloating And Lower Back Pain?

I am experiencing abdominal cramps and bloating, along with lower back pain. I have been passing foul smelling wind and stools. I also have a headache and feel dizzy. This has been going on for the last 2 weeks. I suffered from trapped wind a few years ago and took the relevant meds which worked. I have been taking peppermint capsules since sunday but have had no relief. Any suggestions would be welcome. Thank you.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello
welcome to health care magic, I really appreciate your concern.

Foul smelling flatulance and stool might be related intestinal infection, constipation, indigestion or high protein diet.
Bloating again could be related to Aerophagia ( swallowing of air), smoking, use of carbonated or caffeinated drinks, acid reflux or acid peptic disease.
Dizziness is a worrisome factor here, which warrnats detailed evaluation like recording of blood pressure, blood sugar testing or checking for any ear disease, so in my opinion if if persists that you need to see your family physician for checking of blood pressure and detailed evaluation to diagnose underlying cause for dizziness.

Looking at your description I would advise you to take a course of antibiotics like ofloxacin or ornidazole group of drugs under medical supervision.

I would also advise you to take antiacidity medicines like pantoprazole with antacids for time being.
Avoid spicy and junk food, use of carbonated or caffeinated beverages
No smoking or alcohol consumption .
you can take diclofenac for low backache

Hope I could answer your question, please feel free to ask for follow up question, I will be happy to help you.
Best wishes
