What Causes Abdominal Discomfort After Taking Ultrasound And Iv Test?

I am having symptoms similar to gall bladder problems but they have not found any stones with ultra sound it an Iv test where the put a substance in the Iv and expected to wait 30 minutes for my gall bladder to be empty and it emptied in 3 minutes. I ate Chinese the other night and had trouble after that and then the next night I ate a steak and had problems with a lot of pain and discomfort. What else could this be?

Hello,

After going through your medical query I understand your concern and I would like to tell you that it is simply gastritis because of fried and spicy food. You can take over the counter antacids and avoid fried and spicy for next time.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhanu Partap, Cardiologist
