What Causes Abdominal Discomfort On The Left Side?
I m 48 and my tubes been tied since 1999...my period is never late but I haven t had any since mid January...now I m having some discomfort on my left side where the ovary is...I took a pregnancy test but it was negative..I don t have medical insurance and I m worried that this could be a tubal pregnancy even tho I m hoping is just menopause starting..what should I do?
The pregnancy test generally gets positive even if it's a tubal pregnancy. So if the test is negative then I don't think it's a tubal pregnancy. If the pain is not very severe, and you are not too sick, I would say that you should use some painkillers and repeat the pregnancy test in few days to be sure that there is no pregnancy. Report to your doctor if the pain gets worse or if you do not feel good.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
