General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The use of antibiotics such as Ciprofloxacin is associated with changes in bowel habits and flora explaining your stomach feeling distended. I advise to take:
- Probiotics to stabilize intestinal flora.
- Simethicone to ease stomach distention.
Body aches and fever due to viral infection. However, relapse of kidney infection ruled out by urine analysis, abdominal ultrasound, and blood work.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini
