What Causes Abdominal Distention Along With Severe Muscle Spasms?

I have a distended stomach, multiple levels/layers of arthritis (severe pain), bruising on right side of abdomin, big mass on right side low back thought to have been a hematoma, and now left side is twice the size of the right, severe muscle spasms, I have sleep apnea, basically housebound by the chronic low back pain. What do u think are the masses on both left and right (left side mass noticed 12 months ago and right side 2 years 4 months) and have severe edema. What do you think from my very frustrating health?

Hello,

You have a little more problems. But do not worry. Firstly, are you sure you have Hematoma?

Some tests are required:

1. Whole Abdomen USG
2. Complete Blood Count
3. Creatinine and liver function tests are also done including albumin, the international normalized ratio (INR), serum amylase and total bilirubin (TBIL) and partial thromboplastin time (PTT).

Seeing the results, I can determine next, which route to adopt. With the result above, you can post another question.

Physical exam of the mass is also suggested by any doctor including general practitioner.

Meanwhile, you can do the followings:

For Muscle spasm, you can take muscle relaxants. For arthritis/low back pain, you can take paracetamol 500 mg.

Too much pain, refer Ibuprofen. Avoid alcohol & smoking, avoid dairy products, avoid high salt or sugar, etc

For edema, can take diuretics.

Each of the problems is addressed. But please do the above tests as soon as possible. Medical sciences have many treatments for you.
