Hi
Thanks for posting on HCM
I have read and understood your concern.
Generally, the causes of abdominal distension have been summarized in 5Fs(fat, fluid, flatus, faeces, foetus). If the Gastroenterologist has eliminated all abdominal causes of distended abdomen, i will say you may be suffering from abdominal(android) obesity. However, only physical examination will confirm. If confirmed, the follwoing may help you reduce abdominal fats:
-Eat Plenty of Soluble Fiber
-Avoid Foods That Contain Trans Fats
-Don’t Drink Too Much Alcohol
-Eat a High-Protein Diet
-Eat only when hungry
-Reduce Your
Stress Levels
-Don’t Eat a Lot of Sugary Foods
-Do Aerobic Exercise/Perform Resistance Training
-Cut Back on Carbs, Especially Refined Carbs
-Avoid Sugar-Sweetened Beverages/Stop Drinking Fruit Juice
-Get Plenty of Restful Sleep
-Track Your Food Intake and Exercise
-Eat Fatty Fish Every Week
-Add Apple Cider Vinegar to Your Diet
-Try Intermittent Fasting
-Drink Green Tea
Hope this will help
Wish you good health. You may write back if more concerns
Best regards
