What Causes Abdominal Pain Above Belly Button After Intercourse?
I m having slight abdominal pain above my belly button. It s uncomfortable to lay on my belly, and when I lay on my back, my stomach feels tight. I m due to start my period in the coming week (5 days). I recently had unprotected sex on my period with my boyfriend, could I possibly be pregnant?

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have abdominal pain above belly button after intercourse . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like appendicitis , consuming foods known to cause gas in some people, such as milk products that contain lactose, broccoli , crohn’s disease , gastroenteritis , irritable bowel syndrome or urinary tract infection . Food allergy can also be one of the factor . Take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain. I would suggest you to avoid above mentioned foods , eat light and non spicy specially at night , take light walk after every meal , eat small and frequent meals .If condition doesn't get well then consult gastroenterologist for proper examination . Doctor may order ultrasound , endoscopy along with stool test . Doctor may prescribe ornidazole , omeprazole , laxative , anti inflammatory along with antacids . Doctor may also refer you to urologist for UTI or gynecologist .
