What Causes Abdominal Pain After An IVF Procedure?
I am undergoing IVF treatment and completed the stimulation protocol followed by egg retrieval. Embryo transfer is planned after a month. I have been prescribed duphaston for 7 days and I am facing severe abdominal pain. What could be the reason or this? Is it because of any side effect? Should I continue to take this medicine?

I think you are experiencing pre-menstrual syndrome and the pain is due to it. Of course the hormone stimulation has its own side effects. Take any over-the-counter pain relievers.
