What Causes Abdominal Pain After Eating Food?

Hi, I have been having alot of pain in my upper stomach area. I find it hard to eat any substantial meals, and after I eat I have pain and nausea. When I wake up my stomach is fairly flat, by mid afternoon I look like I am 8 mo pregnant. I do not have heartburn or indigestion. Any ideas what might b going on?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

You seem to have dyspepsia. You may take omeprazole 20 mg 30 minutes before breakfast to help with the symptoms.
Also, avoid coffee, alcohol, and smoking. Eat frequent small amounts of meals during the day.

If you are not better with these in a few days or you feel any worse please see your doctor.

I hope I have answered your query. I remain at your disposal in case further medical assistance is needed.

Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj,
