Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I recently experienced abdominal pain after eating. The doctor suspected GERD, ulcer or gallstones. My gallbladder was removed 5 years ago. He suggested an abdominal ultrasound, colonoscopy, and taking Zantac twice a day. The Zantac therapy is working and I am doing fine. Do I still need to go further? Also, I m having a complete blood panel done and am waiting for results. My email is: YYYY@YYYY
Hi and thank you for asking on HCM. I read carefully your concerns and I'm sorry for that. I think that it's a good sign that zantac therapi has relieved your concerns, but I think that's better to do all the exams that your doctors tell you to do. After all these exams, you will know what was the problem, that causes your concerns, and treat apropriately the simptoms! Don't be afraid, I think you don't have something serious, but to be save, do the exams! I wish you a fast recovery! Dr. B. Dautaj
