What Causes Abdominal Pain After Endometrial Ablation?
I have been having abdominal pain for the past two weeks (lower abs). I am 51 and have fibroids; no longer have a period; had an endometrial ablation in 2014. Doctor went in to remove fibroids but discovered polyps and removed those instead. I haven t had any issues until now. Any advice?
It is quite common after a endometrial ablation or any other interventional procedure. As a first line management, you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief. An ultrasound scan may be taken to rule out any possible bleeding.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
