What Causes Abdominal Pain After Falling Down?
My mother aged 87 fell in her care home 10 days ago and now has abdominal pain .. she s complaining that it s like a band around her middle. She doesn t want to eat and drink, she keeps retching and her dementia has advanced . Could it be bruised kidneys?

The symptoms can be related to internal bleeding from trauma.
The bleeding can come from the liver or spleen.
I recommend doing an ultrasound and an X-ray for further evaluation.
