What Causes Abdominal Pain After Removal Ovarian Cyst?
In 2004, I had an ovarian cyst that resulted in a softball sized abscess in the cul de sac. I had it surgically removed after a week on IV antibiotics and 2 months of oral antibiotics. Nothing since. Today, I ve been experiencing abnormal pain on my right ovary. The pain is sharp but intermittent and occurs every few minutes, lasting only a few seconds. Should I go to the ER to be checked or wait until tomorrow to see my doctor. I don t want to overreact but also don t want to under react.

You can take NSAIDs like Advil or Tylenol for pain. There might be an abdominal infection. If the symptoms do not improve till tomorrow. You can take OPINION of your clinician.
