What Causes Abdominal Pain After Taking I-pill?

I had unprotected sex for the first time and we thought that he might have released semen inside me and so i took an ipill within 5 hours of intercourse now i have an average pain in my stomach . What should i do and what are the signs of ipill working and what should be the does and dont during this period ?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...

Ipill intake is a method of emergency contraception which works by preventing of implantation of fertilization egg to uterus. It has a very good success of 95% when taken with in 24 hours of intercourse.
Abdominal pain usually doesnot occur after taking ipill. It should be due to some mild gastric problem such as indigestion, hyperacidity, etc or might be due to stress related to getting pregnant.
Use condom or regular contraceptive pill as method of contraception in future. Take ipill just in case of emergency. Taking more emergency contraceptive pills can cause problems like irregular periods, ectopic pregnancy, ovarian hyper-stimulation syndrome & even infertility.

If problem persist visit a gynaecologist
