What Causes Abdominal Pain After Taking Pletal?

I exprienced severe abdominal pains after taking Pletal for 2 days and had emergency surgery for an obstructed bowel with bleeding. What could have caused this problem, because I was already taking Coumadin after heart surgery for CHF and aortic stenosis?

The bleeding of course is due to blood thinning medications you were taking while the obstruction is not related to them. Your doctor knows better the benefits of the medication and the contraindication. So continue to follow his councils.
