What Causes Abdominal Pain Along With Itching In The Right Elbow?
Second week in a row, I am awakened by severe gastro pains that result in a bout of diahrea and an upset stomach. I have experienced severe itching in my right elbow which seems to start the night before this gastroenteritis episode. I don t know if they are connected but happen together. Other than these episodes I am healthy, take only 2 prescribed meds ( simvastatin 20 mugs and pantoprozole 40 msg daily) . I also take Allegra for allergies.

For your health concern the abdominal pain followed by diarrhea is likely due to viral gastroenteritis. The itching on elbow is unrelated to this.
Follow liquid diet like soup until diarrhea subsides, followed by BRAT diet (Banana, rice, Apple Sauce, toast). You can also take Buscopan 10 mg twice daily for pain. Also, stay hydrated. The diarrhea will subside in next 3-4 days.
