What Causes Abdominal Pain Along With Loose Stools Upon Withdrawal From Prilosec?

I have been taking one Prilosec 20 mg with my first meal of the day for the past few years and when I try to stop, I have tried twice, once cold turkey and this past time trying to substitute tagament and then Zantac twice per day. my stomach goes crazy and I have a lot of acid throughout my system and in pail. I eat tums during this time, i.e. 3 or 4 per day and drink milk to help and my stools are very loose and full of acid and painful. How do I quit?

prilosec is omiprazole an antacid used to treat gastritis and reflux disease no such known side effect. only advisory is to avoid if known allergy to drug. can change the drug and take digine gel.
