Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Super concerned about my father. He is 65 and an alcoholic. He has been passing blood (noticeable amounts), hardened and distended abdomen. He also has been having stomach pain and loss of appetite. I have been trying to encourage him to see a doctor asap but he refuses because he his scared to hear the results. However, he is scheduled to meet and discuss a colonoscopy within the following week. My concern is the possibilities of what this could be. He obviously does not care for himself and most times does not eat.
