What Causes Abdominal Pain And Bloating After An Inguinal Hernia Surgery?
about 6 years ago I had a hernia mesh put in around my navel. but after 2 days I was rushed back into surgery. I had started to vomiting green bile. My doctor said the mesh had torn lose and had gone into my intestines. but after that surgery, I did pretty good. But seems like I am having a lot of pain in that area, plus belching and passing gas. is it something else?
* As per my clinical experience, the hernia surgery recovery is usually absolutely fine within 2-3 weeks postoperative.
* Any chronic discomfort must be evaluated with possible nerve irritation, digestive issues, motility related disorders or else. Thorough work up with an ultrasound of the abdomen & pelvis with or without CT scan of the abdomen will help a great level to diagnose and manage further precisely.
Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Purva Patel,
