What Causes Abdominal Pain And Bloating Along With Appetite Loss?

Hi - for the last 24 hours, I have had what I thought was severe gas pain on my sides (both sides) and under my stomach. Feels like in the colon. I took 3 gas-x gels and no relief. This usually always works. I feel like I have trapped expanding gas. I am not able to pass any gas or have a real bowel movement, although I ate some food last night and for lunch today. My appetite is low. I feel bloated. Please help. Not sure what to do next. I tried mild exercise, rolling around, and walking. No relief,

Hello,

I feel you have gastritis or acid peptic disease. You need to follow some tips which are:

1. Do not eat spicy food.
2. Take medications for gastritis- Pantop/Omez/Rantac.
3. Take little food at frequent intervals. Have Breakfast around 8 am, small snack at 11 am, lunch at 1 pm, small snack at 4 pm and dinner at 8 pm.
4. Drink plenty of water.
5. Do not smoke, take alcohol or tobacco and even excess of coffee and tea.
6. Do not take much of stress. Stress aggravates gastritis.
7. Do regular exercise, at least half an hour per day.
8. Learn meditation techniques.
9. Follow this regularly for 21 days. It is said that anything you practice regularly for 21 days becomes a habit.
