What Causes Abdominal Pain And Bloating Along With Irregular Periods?
Hi. I am a 48 year old woman and have been experiences irregular periods (e.g., two recent cycles together seemingly), and a missed cycle altogether. However, while I m aware that I may be experiencing premenopausal symptoms, I have been also experiencing consistent pain in my abdomen and very uncomfortable bloating. My appetite has reduced (I have slim build naturally), and I am often feeling fatigued. I have recently gone for an ultrasound as I have a 5cm fibroid (measured 6 months ago). I m wondering if these symptoms may be due to the fibroid or if I should be concerned that another possibility is ovarian cancer? Thanks.
Other possibilities may be DUB, PID, endometriosis, PMS, ovarian malignancy. You need to consult a gynecologist you to diagnose and treat you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
