Lately I have awakened in the middle of the night with intestinal pain, cramping,, feeling like I need to have a bowel movement. It actually feels like the food is passing to the lower intestine. I m wondering if it is my diet, or do I have a tumor or what? It usually passes and I go back to sleep but when I wake up I have to have a bowel movement right away. I m also gassy. This is not every night, just sometimes.

There are many causes of Abdominal pain and bloating, but it is mostly related to your diet and eating habits. However, you still need to do few tests in the nearest medical center for routine evaluation. Besides, you should do the following:-
1- Avoid eating fatty and large meals.
2- Divide your meals into smaller ones.
3- Eat well-balanced and healthy diet.
4- Your doctor will prescribe antispasmodic for abdominal cramps.
5- Drugs such as Eucarbon which contains natural ingredients to regulate the digestive tract.
