Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Mid abdominal pain with blood in the urine with a strong small, loss of apatite, swelling in both legs. Test have been run with no answers from Dr. Had a heart cath done with 10% blockage with no concern. Did a endoscope and a conopy both test came back normal. Is there something missing. This has been going on for about 20 Days with Aunt been in and out of hospital 4 different time.
Pain in abdomen along with blood in urine is suggestive of stone somewhere in urinary track. Go for ultrasound test of abdomen for detection of stone right from kidney to urinary bladder.
Then, consult urologist or surgeon whoever is nearby you and affordable.
Follow other advice:
- Drink plenty of water though out the day. - If stone is confirmed, drink beer as it will be helpful to break the stone, facilitating removal of stone from urinary track. - If fever or body ache is there take tablet paracetamol 325 mg 8 hourly and tablet Norfloxacin 400 mg 12 hourly for 7 to 10 days. - If stone number or size is larger than surgical approach will be better.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Hiren Hirpara
