What Causes Abdominal Pain And Dark Vaginal Discharge When Suffering From PCOS?
Hi there, I have pcos and had a chemical pregnancy at the end of March. Apart from that bleeding, I haven t had a period since August last year (when I stopped taking my contraceptive pill) I have had severe abdominal and lower back pain. My doctor has put it down to my pcos. I ve also had nausea, constipation, dark smelly stools when I do go, sore beasts and headaches. Now I ve had 5 days of dark discharge, mainly when I wipe/spotting on liner that has a metallic smell to it and is quite thick. Could this just be a period ? Or should I go back to the doctor?

The dark spotting is indicative of old blood. It could be a premenstrual symptom.
If you do not get your period in the next few days, do a home pregnancy test.
