What Causes Abdominal Pain And Diarrhea While Having Elevated Liver Enzyme Levels?

hi im diwas i have done liver function test my SGOPT and GOT is high 178: 389. its been two months my toilet is going liquid. my doctor sugested me Darolac and ursomx 300 along with gas tablet. but my problem is not solved and im having gastric problem and stomach pain

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of abdominal pain and diarrhea while having elevated liver enzyme levels which seems to be due to disturbance of electrolytic balance of body due to excessive production of acid and it could be due to food intolerance, food allergy , bacterial or viral infection of liver. You should take small quantity of food and avoid large intake at a single time. I would suggest you to consult gastroenterologist for proper examination. Doctor may prescribe albendazole , omeprazole along with loperamide. You should eat light and non spicy , eat fresh fruits and vegetables and eat fruits like banana. Doctor may prescribe antibiotics for liver swelling or infection . Doctor may also recommend removal of gallbladder . Take oral rehydrating solution as well. You should avoid intake of outside food.
