Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
For about 6 months now my wife and I have had abdominal pain. The pain ranges from manageable to debilitating. Along with this is a constant "pressure" feeling in the effected area. Mine has mostly been lower left and hers has been across the lower part. A week ago hers had moved up the center of her abdomen. A few days later so did mine. Stools are loose to some times diarrhea, some times with fresh blood. Lately our butts have been itchy and sore. Chills, sweats, low fever and trouble sleeping.
We also have constant pressure in the area that becomes painful. It's always some level of pain but about every ten days to two weeks it gets more painful. Two days ago white (I'll say small worm looking things started working their way out of my wife’s areola's and a few out of the nipple). I grabbed some clear tape and caught them and headed to the ER. After 4 or 5 hours of waiting the little things had dried up and the doctor who looked at them said she didn't see anything other than what looked like "skin" cells. We have both had blood and stool tests and all showed nothing.
In the morning our eyes have a "film" on them and the corners are dry and a little crusty. Both our vision has been impaired a small degree. Some days it take a little longer for our vision to clear enough to drive.
The possible issue here seems to be digestive involvement in form of infection through a type of food intolerance or liquids with systemic manifestation. It is strongly recommended to consult with all details of reports done and current medications list so that further line of action can be figured out.
