General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi,
Your history tells that you have the problem since last 2 years only while you had tubal ligation about 9 years back (after birth of your youngest child).
Apart from that you age is now past 40s so your problems are not likely to be related to your tubal ligation. It can be:
- early premenopausal changes
- Due to hormonal imbalance (thyroid or ovarian problems)
- It can follow uterine fibroid
Examination by an expert hume ologist/Hormone estimation studies & USG scanning would throw light on the cause followed by special management.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Thanks.
Regards,
Dr. Vasudha Jayant Athavale, General & Family Physician
