hi i have been having really abdominal pain and headaches lately and sometimes ictchy breast. my period is not due for about 5days and i want to know can i be pregnant? i test about 3 times 2 weeks ago but it turned out negative. I mite have done the pregnacy test early
Hi! Good morning. I am Dr Shareef answering your query.
Yes , it was too early for a urine PT to be positive, which as such might not be positive at times till late. If I were your doctor, I would advise you for a serum HGC test which is more specific, and an ultrasound of abdomen if need be to rule out any other intra pelvic pathology in addition. Further management would depend on the result of a clinical assessment and investigation reports.
I hope this information would help you in discussing with your family physician/treating doctor in further management of your problem. Please do not hesitate to ask in case of any further doubts.
Thanks for choosing health care magic to clear doubts on your health problems. I wish you an early recovery. Dr Shareef.
