What Causes Abdominal Pain And Nausea After Having Food?

my friend has been experiencing abdominal pain since this morning. I t feels better when he lies down. He feels like he will throw up if he eats anything so has not had any food. No diarrhea. He feels like he is constipated but cannot move his bowels. The pain is in his lower left abdomen mostly. He has the urge to urinate frequently but nothing much comes out and that started last night. Please advise!

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Since, when he has constipation? It is more or less like Food poisoning.

I suggest you give him T. Emeset (twice a day before food) for temporary relief and ORS (oral rehydration solution) should be taken by mixing with water, take plenty of water.

If symptoms do persist, then try consulting a physician for antibiotics and further treatment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Indhu Priyadharshini
