What Causes Abdominal Pain And Nausea After Taking Xifaxan?

Hello! Last week, I tried xifaxan for the first time and within 24 hours, I had severe abdominal pain and nausea....both possible reactions to the drug. I stopped the drug immediately. Within another 24 hours, the abdominal pain went away, but I am still suffering from severe nausea 3 days after stopping the drug. Is this something that I should see someone about or just wait it out (my doc is out of the office today). Thank you!
