What Causes Abdominal Pain And Pale Stool After Taking Amoxicillin?

Hi, my son is 4 and took an antibiotic (amoxicillin) twice a day for just over a week. He complained of stomach pain torwards the end of taking the antibiotic, and I started noticing his stool was very light in color. Today he has been complaining much less of the stomach pain and is starting to act more like himself, but his stool is still light colored. Could this be a side effect of the antibiotic?

If i were ur physician i would have reassured u that it is amoxicillin's side effect and it will be alright soon given that there isnt any jaundice.i would suggest to monitor his stool colour and abilty to flush.
