Understanding your concern. As per your query your child have symptoms of abdominal pain and pasty stools. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like constipation, gastroenteritis, acid reflux , kidney infection or stress, inadequate fibres in diet and due to poor digestion and improper metabolism of food. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to consult gastroenterologist for proper examination . Doctor may order certain test like ultrasound , stool test and take history to confirm the diagnosis . Doctor may prescribe ornidazole , laxative , omeprazole or albendazole . Doctor may also refer you to nephrologist for kidney problem .
