General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Bad odors may irritate the stomach so it is likely that your symptoms are related to the skunk smell. On the other hand, there are other causes like viruses or gastritis that are quite common and may cause nausea.
Nevertheless, whichever is the cause, they are all self-limiting and you may be better by taking Omeprazole 20 mg a day and metochlorpramide 10 mg 2-3 times a day.
Make sure you drink and eat in frequent small amounts so that your stomach is not irritated.

If no improvement in 2-3 days, or any worsening, please see your doctor.

I hope this answers your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj, General & Family Physician
