I see this collection of symptoms in my office often. It sounds like the basis of your problem is your constipation. The pressure of the large amount of hard stool that can build up in the sigmoid colon pushes on the bladder and can lead to urinary tract symptoms and infections. A urine dip test isn't the most accurate test for diagnosing a urinary tract infection. if your urine was sent out for a culture and it grew infective bacteria then there was an infection there and antibiotics were necessary. When someone puts food in their mouth and begins to eat there is a reflects that turns the bowels on to make them start squeezing and moving. I'd you are constipated it can cause gas trapping and pain which often will be worse just after you've eaten. People often have an upset stomach, some nausea, loss of appetite, and gas pain and bloating when they're constipated. If you were my patient I would recommend that you do a bowel cleanse of some sort whether prescribed by your doctor or over the counter and see how your symptoms do. You can also ask the Doctor Who did your last urine test if they sent out a culture so you can tell if you actually had a urinary tract infection or not.
