What Causes Abdominal Pain In The Left Side?

What do I need to do next since I have had left abdominal pain for several years but recently it has gotten worse and there is a constant aching pain. I just gotten a Catscan and ultra sound done in the last week and everything came back clear. I think I may be have scar tissue after my myomectomy on the left side 16 years ago. The pain is there on and off for years now and it keeps coming back. Thank you!

If you are having left lower abdominal pain the most common cause in Females is the Pelvic Inflammatory Disease. It is simply the infection of Adnexa-Fallopian tubes plus Ovary and the other soft tissue adjoining them. It may be palpated as a localized mass that is tender too.
You just need to take a prescription for Ciprofloxacin and Flagyl from you GP for around 7-10 days.
Everything rest seems to be fine . The myomectomy scar most probably would have healed completely normally by now.
Godspeed.
